To revive the seventies this sunny colour became available again in the mid-eighties in some European countries. Vert Bambou was the basis of some special models: the Bamboo in England, the Sauss Ente in Germany and the Ente Grün in Switzerland. Often the decals were taken off after a while, as some found them too flashy.

That’s what happened tot his 2cv as well. In 2006 it was imported from Germany, already without stickers. The paint wasn’t perfect, so it had a respray. Also the floorboards and some other parts were replaced. The chassis was still perfect and still is. The last few years it was stored dry in the garage of holiday house in France. First in the south, ;ater on in the Bourgogne. It must have contributed to its conservation.

Now it’s back in Holland and got its previous registration back. We still have a copy of the French registration, so if you want to re-enter it to France to use it at your own (holiday) house over there: it should be an easy job.

Wit hits mere 52.000 original kilometers it’s ready for some more fun. On top of that we ensure it’s ready for it with a full service and tank of petrol.
